Rationale:
|
|
Azusa Unified School District (AUSD) Career Technical Education program students will participate in a two-day field trip to the Central Valley on February 20 and 21, 2025. Students will be visiting a high speed rail construction site and Fresno State University. Transportation will be provided by chartered bus. The students will be supervised by AUSD teachers. The field trip will give students an opportunity to explore careers in transportation, construction, and engineering, including the training and education available for those careers at the postsecondary level. AUSD has been visiting High Speed Rail and Fresno State University since 2022. Board of Education approval is necessary as the trip requires overnight travel. |
