Rationale:
The Azusa Unified School District intends to pursue State Allocation Board–Administered Programs to ensure eligibility for funding through the School Facility Program. This process is critical to support our District’s facility needs, including meeting the requirements for a five-year school facilities master plan. By adopting this resolution, the Board of Education will authorize the submission of the necessary applications to secure funding for modernization and new construction projects, ensuring compliance with Education Code Section 17070.10 et seq. and Section 17070.54. This resolution is an essential step to maintaining and improving the District’s infrastructure to provide safe, functional, and up-to-date facilities for our students and staff.
