Rationale:
|
It is a requirement under Education Code Sections 35035(g), 42130, and 42131, as amended by Assembly Bill (AB) 1200 (Chapter 1213/1991), that school districts prepare and submit interim reports twice annually to their governing boards. AUSD is submitting the 2024-2025 Second Interim Report with a positive certification and projects that reserves will meet the minimum 3% for economic uncertainties for the current 2024-2025, and two subsequent years, as required by the Los Angeles County Office of Education and the State of California.
